The Bohbot lab is recruiting a master student to study terpenoid-sensing in the tiger mosquito Aedes albopictus.

Mosquitos do not only feed on blood, they also need nectar to fuel their locomotor activities.

The Department of Entomology of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in entomology. We seek candidates working in any field of Insect Science, either at the molecular, physiological or ecological level, relevant to agriculture and the environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong track record in research, outstanding academic credentials and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Starting date is 1 October 2024.  Starting rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
