- Biology of the Honeybee, Beekeeping, Pollination
Research Interests:
- Reproduction and swarming of bee colonies
- Pheromonal inhibition of the construction of swarming and cells
- Alarm pheromones of workers and queens.
- Attraction of honeybees to flowers (Citrus, Cucurbits).
- Management of bee colonies for pollination and honey production in the subtropics.
- Monitoring and control of Varroa jacobsoni and Nosema apis in bee colonies.
